PROJECT BACKGROUND
The documentary Residual was created in 2023 as a short film, produced with resources from the Belo Horizonte Municipal Cultural Incentive Law. Dozens of characters and locations were mapped during production for further project development. Currently, the short film is on the festival circuit and has already been screened at events in Minas Gerais, Pernambuco, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo. The project, now in development for production as a feature-length film, was presented at business rounds during the MAX Minas Expo Audiovisual 2024 in Belo Horizonte and Ventana Sur 2024 in Uruguay. It is also being submitted to labs, funding calls, and other markets.
